Pajaros (birds) and Pajaro Dunes

A month ago, before everything got super weird and chaotic, we had a lovely weekend with Pete's family for our annual gathering at Pajaro Dunes. The abnormally warm and dry weather continued over the long weekend, which meant lots of time for walks on the beach. The houses are sandwiched between the beach on one side and the Watsonville Slough on the other. The beach seems to attract a lot of shorebirds, while the slough attracts waterfowl and wading birds. Here are a few of my favorites.
